What Is a Death Doula?
A death doula is a trained, non-medical professional who provides emotional, spiritual, and practical support throughout the end-of-life journey.
While I do not replace hospice, nurses, social workers, or funeral professionals, I work alongside them to provide additional comfort, advocacy, and personalized care for both the individual and their loved ones.
End-of-Life Planning
Planning ahead can provide peace of mind for both you and your family.

Companion Care
Sometimes the greatest gift is simply having someone present.
I provide compassionate companionship through:

- Reiki (if desired)
- Gentle conversation
- Sitting vigil so family members can rest
Family Support
Families often carry tremendous emotional weight while caring for a loved one.
Support includes:
- Emotional support
- Education about the dying process

- Holding space during difficult conversations
Vigil Support
Whether death is expected within hours or days, I provide a calm, comforting presence during the active dying process.

- Continuous bedside presence

- Music or sound bowls (if requested)

- Creating a peaceful environment
- Supporting family members

Initial Consultation
30 Minutes — Complimentary
Death Doula Services
$75 per hour
Services may include planning sessions, family meetings, companion care, vigil support, bedside presence, or after-death guidance.
Overnight Vigil Support
Custom pricing available based on hours and level of support.
Legacy Projects
Quoted individually based on the project.
Travel
Services within 25 miles of Nashville are included.
A $50 travel fee applies to visits beyond 25 miles.
For extended travel or multiple-day support, custom pricing will be discussed during your consultation.
